About AES

St.Mary’s college of education was established from the academic year 2004-05 with an intake of 100 students and was affiliated to Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta. After the inception of NCTE, the college has got recognition from the year 2004-05 (No:F.SRO/NCTE/B.ED/2004-05/8845, Dtd.30.11.2004. and continuing recognition regularly, since from 2010-11 the college is affiliated to Davanagere University, Davanagere, and getting affiliation regularly. The course was expanded to two years duration comprising of four semesters from the academic year 2015-16. 

Since from the inception of the college, it has progressed and produced good result and academic achievements. The college is running in a permanent building with all the necessary basic infrastructure with sufficient number of classrooms, well equipped science labs, psycho lab, computer lab, technology lab and library with adequate number of books and journals. Well experienced and qualified Principal and teaching faculties are boom to our institution.
